I put a new hard drive in my computer and more memory in it also. It was faster for a while, now its slowing down. I think its b/c my old hard drive is now in the MBs vs GBs. Is there a way to make my new drive my primary drive, and will my computer run faster with that change? 11/10/2007 7:32:54 PM |

you can move your "my documents" over to the new drive if you want to. you can uninstall applications from the c drive and reinstall them on the other drive. you can even go all out and format both drives and start over.

most likely yes. with what information you've given it's easy too, just install your OS on your new drive (keep your old drive as is) then in you BIOS set your new drive to boot first (in the boot sequence menu), then copy all your documents/settings, etc. over to the new drive 11/10/2007 8:28:18 PM |
