Lets say I buy lots of ammo on the 19th...then I might not have to buy ammo for a little while after that.
I won't necessarily shoot more ammo, I just would have bought it on a different day.
Kinda like how people fill up their cars the day before gas boycotts.
Will this still make ammo day a success?
(in reality if I buy ammo on ammo day then I would shoot more)

I already have 3500 rds. of .22LR and 120 rds. of 7.62x39mm in .50 cal cans... I can't see a reason to get any more. This is all at home and not on campus though... there should be no confusion there.

I think I made a gross miscalculation of my 7.62x39mm ammo supply. I have 5 boxes of 30 rounds and 1 box of 25 rounds (fired 5) of Lapua 7.62x39mm ammo that I bought for $6.50/box (gun show sellout sale). That's 175 right there. I used up all the cheap Russian stuff I bought that same day. I then bought 500 rounds from Midway and I've probably fired 100-150 rounds worth of that. That means I should have at least 425 rounds of 7.62...

I should probably have a range day soon.

you are correct, i wasn't serious about it.
granted, i've never been one to own guns, and I do think that certain types are overkill, I do support people's rights to own them.

I wasn't just trying to push buttons... there are people out there who really do feel that way.
