I might try it out for fun. I have two questions, though.
1) How would I go about dual booting with XP still being my primary OS? I've only set up a dual boot with Ubuntu, and it just magically sets everything up for me. How would I manage it with the patched Leopard, which I assume isn't automatic?
2) Does anyone know anything about the OpenGL/shader standards of Leopard? Would a X800pro work with it? I seem to recall older iMacs having X600's...11/15/2007 1:58:55 PM |

probably get better responses if you ask in the comments over there, since they're the ones that have actually done it.

Yes it will dual boot, and no it is not crippled, in the end you get a fully functioning OS X install. My method to make your OS X install boot after a fresh install. 1. boot back into dvd and type in terminal: cd /usr/misc ./script.sh "Name of leopard partition without quotes" 2. open up disk utility and unmount Leopard partition 3. repeat above. 4. reboot, and you should have a working hackintosh! Most of the patches applied to make this work are motherboard specific. I'd try it, but I don't have the proper hardware. 11/15/2007 3:49:16 PM |

There are very few hardware combinations out there that you can really say are "fully functioning," everything else is going to be hacked together in some way. 11/15/2007 5:52:10 PM |

I tried to do this with OSX before Leopard came out and I could never get it to boot. 11/15/2007 6:01:10 PM |
