in 4th grade we went on a field trip to a horse barn. the fence had 20v wires around it. i grabbed hold of it with teh wire in the center of my palm and it took what seemed like FOREVER to let go.

i remember hearing about a student that got shocked from a teacher by some shocking device he/she made out of a couple batteries.

the kid told his mom and she was like "oh i'm sure he didn't mean to on purpose" thinking that it was like a fleece jacket static shock.... then there were burn marks a couple days later and you can imagine what happened.

when I was younger we had a cat that would sleep in my bed on this fleece blanket. Whenever it moved around at night it would light the room with all the sparks flying. Didnt seem to mind though.
