ieatbrainz will take a digital fingerprint of all your MP3s and try to match them automatically with a prefilled database, so theoretically you don't have to do anythign manually. http://musicbrainz.org/ 11/22/2007 8:41:46 AM |

i'm not advocating or defending ieatbrainz, but it does try to do something different than the other batch ID3 tagger programs. If you have several albums that are just not properly labeled, or you want to batch-rename a bunch of files, then yeah - something like Tag&Rename is better. But if you have a large group of "unconnected" MP3s (single, random files, not necessarily full albums) or they are completely named wrong or don't have any ID3 tags, then ieatbrainz is very good at quickly going through them one at a time and getting tag information for them all automatically. 11/22/2007 10:20:38 AM |

honestly both programs are not working that well for me....its somewhat frustrating....all i want to do is make all my songs "artist-songtitle.mp3" since they will be in the properly labled album folder
cant even fucking do that... 11/22/2007 10:33:44 AM |

I use id3-tagit. works great and allows you to edit multiple tracks. It also allows you to take track properties(author, song, album, etc) and create a filename or you can pull properties from the filename to fill in the tags. 11/22/2007 3:41:01 PM |
