I have glossy on my laptop. It looks nice, but it can glare very badly. 11/23/2007 10:58:46 AM |

If you're not constantly working in bright areas, glossy is fine. I just got a new laptop with a glossy screen and I really like it. 11/23/2007 11:52:36 AM |

Glossy is fine for a desktop monitor, but for a laptop I suggest getting matte. It's nearly impossible to use a glossy LCD in bright light. Glossy does seem to look a little bit nicer, but it doesn't really improve anything beyond an aesthetic feel. 11/23/2007 11:59:18 AM |

What's the one that is as bad as looking into a mirror? Definitely don't go with that one. 11/23/2007 2:19:14 PM |

Ah yes, mirrored screens. Not sure why they're so popular.
