When I have my own (as in I'm the head) family thanksgiving dinner, I'm having seafood. I'm NOT going to allow cassaroles either. I don't understand them. All I can taste is butter..... or I bite into sweet potatos, and I end up with a sugar buzz (from the extra sugar and marshmellows. 11/23/2007 2:29:34 PM

I know how to cook, however I wonder about the capabilities of others.
Cassaroles, even when prepared correctly are disturbing. 11/23/2007 2:43:13 PM

I just really want fish. It's more authentic.
Or venisin mmmmmmmm
Or seal (haha not on my plate).
Actually, a game bird or free range turkey would be awesome. However, I would be cooking it--as not to end up with DRY turkey. I had the displeasure of carving the dry turkey this year. It was dry to the point it fell off the bone and couldn't be carved. "Did I cook it long enough??" 11/23/2007 2:46:14 PM

They did have turkey, but it was the equivilant to our free range turkeys, not our bloated bland turkeys. 11/23/2007 2:49:02 PM

I think the real question is, why would you NOT put stuffing on a sammich? 11/23/2007 8:01:54 PM

because the existance of stuffing would cancel out the bread, or vice versa
oh, and stuffed salmon trumps turkey 11/23/2007 8:09:34 PM
