man... i'm gonna try...went to foodlion earlier and up until the guy started ringing up my groceries i was like thinking to myself "cigs or no cigs"


i then checked to see if i was wearing my gold necklace with a cross on it and i was and was like ok gonna try to do it...i got 1.5 cigs left that i'm gonna end the night on...starting tomorrow i will try to go the whole day without it...the hardest part is like the first 3 days after(quit for 2 weeks in august)


tomorrow i work 10-5, so it wont be that hard to quit, but tomorrow night is gonna be hell

i told my parents during thanksgiving that i might buy some nicorette gum once i get paid this friday...i dont even really have enough cash to smoke cigs til friday so i figure why not quit and save the 9 bucks i got left in my bank account for gas

the problem is getting to the point where you really mean it. you think you're there and then wham! you're back puffing on one again. i had to get to the point where i really hated, and i mean HATED the smell of a cigarette before i could quit. also began noticing all the nasty old & busted broads walking around with butts dangling, and picturing myself there in a few years.

dnl, you can quit again anytime. just put them back down and look at the one you smoked as a lapse and not the norm.
