While I am all about smaller gov't; I have trouble swallowing Cheney's Anti-Gov't position when it comes to the current economic rough waters we are experiencing in the credit market. I like how Cheney pick and chooses when to advocate for smaller gov't. When the issue is setting new policies to protect Americans from predatory lending and to assist in the mortgage crisis among the sub-prime borrowers; Cheney is quick to put his foot down and close the penny bag.

Yet he is more then happy to expand the size of gov't when it comes to the government's intrusion into every Americans home through the Department of Homeland Security intelligence gathering. Also his so called 4th branch of government after asserting he is not part of the executive branch
