is it legal to drive these things around in parking lots, closed roads and stuff? i've heard a few different stories on being within the city limits etc. googled it and din't come up with anything don't wanna get in any trouble.

i do believe its illegal unless it has tags.

I have a scooter and it's great. You don't need a tag for it unless it is over 50cc.

Only time you might run into trouble is running red lights when they wont change cuz the damn thing doesn't weigh enough for the sensors.

Scoots are fucking so much fun hahah. But the fiddy head got to be replaced 40 mph is not no fun run a light and 12 secs later the cars are behind you anyway

Most sensors are done by current induction now days... You should know how that works, being an engineer and all.

Try to pull up right on top of the wires. If the scooters still not enough metal, I've heard taping a magnet to the bottom could help. No idea if it actually works, I've heard both sides of it.

And what happened to the lot by nelson? I co-op in charlotte for a semester and parking gets reduced...

^ I run them all the time cuase otherwise you got alot of ppl pissed off But sometime sidewalks are good to hahah
