Quote :
"BOSTON -- An armed man took people hostage Friday at a Hillary Clinton presidential campaign office in New Hampshire, police said.

The incident happened at about 1 p.m. Friday at 28 North Main St. in Rochester. Officials said that a man is holding people hostage at the office, but it is unclear how many people are being held.

There are several police officers positioned across the street from the office, crouched down behind cruisers with guns drawn, according to a reported at the scene.

Nearby businesses have been evacuated, and the St. Elizabeth Seaton School has been locked down.

Clinton, who is not in New Hampshire, is attending a National Democratic Committee meeting in Virginia.

NewsCenter 5 and TheBostonChannel.com will have more information when it becomes available."

i dislike hillary as much as anyone, but she's too smart to orchestrate something like this. if any hint of that sort of a plan got out, she'd be totally done.

That came to my mind for a second too, but also ^

Unless of course Hillary is really working with the republicans, and she plans to leak her bombing plans to ruin the democrats.

Well, political violence doesn't normally occur in this country...

msnbc.com has a link to the local NBC affiliate covering it via video if you're at work.

I'm sure that every candidate is hoping against a Bush endorsement.

That's how politics work.

Back when Ford was President, his job approval numbers were low. He had two assassination attempts within a couple weeks of each other and his job approval shot up!

It gets better -- in 2002, the hostage taker sued the catholic church for raping him 20 years ago

Quote :
"Leeland Eli Eisenberg, the man arrested tonight after taking hostages at Hillary Clinton's campaign office in Rochester, N.H., appears to have served time in prison for aggravated rape and filed a lawsuit in 2002 alleging that he had been molested 20 years earlier by a Catholic priest in Massachusetts.

The suit alleged that Eisenberg was 21, "homeless and living in abandoned cars in a local junk yard" when he sought help at a Catholic parish in Westford, Mass. A priest offered him work at the parish in exchange for room and board until he could get back on his feet, the lawsuit alleged.

While Eisenberg was living and working at the parish, the lawsuit alleged, a second priest would frequently take him to dinner, buy him drinks, then return to the parish afterward for more drinks. The priest would then "bring out a box of pornographic material, sit behind Plaintiff on a couch, pull out pornographic pictures and magazines and insist the Plaintiff look at the pornographic materials. [The priest] would then sexually molest the Plaintiff."

The lawsuit alleged that the priest molested Eisenberg at a "peep show" in Boston and attempted to "rape" him after he'd been picked up drunk by local police. After that incident, the lawsuit alleged, Eisenberg fled the parish and, a short while later, attempted to kill himself by jumping off a bridge in Ayer, Mass. "
