Just installed a DEH 3900mp head unit in the gf's car and installed the ipod adapter kit.

When I connect the ipod, the screen on the iPod says "Pioneer...OK to disconnect", and the head unit syncs with the iPod and allows me to scroll through the songs and displays artist/playlist/genre (etc.) on the headunit....Sounds great, right?

Problem is, there's no sound...at all.

When its in radio or CD mode, it sounds great, but when in iPod mode, there's no sound at all...

Any suggestions before I take everything apart again and replace the iPod interface?

Try hitting it with a hammer, see if that works.
