sucks when the helmet is too dark (with a real dull sharpie), and your bare eyes cant see.

not sure how thick the steel was. not very thick.

nah i didnt seal it. was gonna spray some clear coat from a spraycan on it. thats pretty much it.

unless you know of something that is a bit better.
