Since school is out carmichael is closing at 6 and I don't get off work and at home until about that time, so is there a decent gym to lift weights at for a few weeks until school starts back?

for the money, yes.

but if you can shell out enough for golds gym, then that is also a really good one

a few weeks being less than 2 months, I don't want to pay activations and enrollment fees.

you should be able to get a free trial at golds gym and cancel when school starts back up.

If it's just two weeks, hit up all the local gyms and tell them you are interested in joining. They will give you free passes. By the time you run out of passes, Carmicheal will be open again.

This is also a valid statement. No one needs machines, especially.

Find a park, rafter, swingset, or the bars outside of carmicheal, etc for pull ups. Use chairs for L dips. Throw in some burpees. For extra resistance, get some bands, a weight vest, or put some weight in a backpack.

Also throw some of this in http://www.dragondoor.com/articler/mode3/229/

http://www.simplefit.org is also a good resource

Yeah, try something that isn't your normal routine for a couple of weeks, it'll actually serve as extra motivation and will change things up for your body.
