cept its black and woot branded...
performs great, channel change has about 1-2 sec lag time, the software it comes with is decent i guess, i only used it for about a day, i just go through windows media center which takes care of everything including downloading a guide automatically....
i had to use dscript thought as a way to play the ps2 through it b/c it dscript doesnt have live recording so it doesnt add a button response lag 12/18/2007 6:11:41 PM |

I have the HDTV one as well, but I don't like it because there's a constant buffer of about a half-second; it's okay for TV, but it's too slow for games. 12/18/2007 7:59:39 PM |

^ ah...i haven't tried it for anything but regular cable television and OTA HD...haven't bothered hooking anything else up to it, including digital cable...i have noticed the delay, though
got it from circuit city for $60 with no rebates when there was a price mistake at best buy that they weren't honoring (but CC didn't know that, and price-matched )

Yeah, it also doesn't receive Clear QAM either, so you can't watch digital cable on it 12/18/2007 8:10:08 PM |

NitroCloud its not the hardware thats the problem with the lag time, its whatever software you use that adds the 1-2 second delay on input b/c of the recording...i had the same problem using my ps2 through mine, all you have to do is dl dscript which doesnt have any sort of real-time recording and the lag time poofs... 12/19/2007 11:46:01 AM |
