As predicted, Raycom will be doing 4 regular season basketball games in high definition in addition to the ACC tournament. I dont think this is an official announcement, as the link is focused on Raycoms search for a title sponsor for the high definition broadcasts. So only 4 games is crappy, but 4 is better than none and a step in the right direction, plus 2 of the games involve NC State, both on the road.
01/31 900PM - NC State at Duke 02/06 900PM - Duke at North Carolina 02/09 900PM - NC State at Maryland 02/12 800PM - North Carolina at Virginia 03/13-16 - ACC Tournament (minus Game 3)
Cant help but notice these are all in two weeks time and in the first half/little over a half of the season. Maybe they add more later? Those are also probably the four biggest games Raycom has, so it may just be coincidence.

^^Miami @ Boston College was the only one, it was a test for the tournament. I heard no mention of any other during that time. 1/1/2008 6:29:00 PM |

^Assuming TWC bothers to switch it over for them, which they didnt do until halfway through the first game the past two Sundays, as well as not even turning the Hurricanes game on at all on Friday. 1/1/2008 6:52:14 PM |
