somebody, (joel or me) should start a thread

top 100, or 50, or 25 favorite moments in music ... EVER.

for instance. my favorite moment is the second show that bob dylan played electric.... 1966. when he did, someone shouted ... "JUDAS!!!!", and bob just said... "i don't believe you... you're a liar!.... and then followed it with.... "Play it fucking loud" and they played "like a rolling stone" heavy as shit for the time. after the show, dylan left the stage and got right into a car headed for his next show.

btw, his drummer ended up as the bearded dude on tool time... the k&b construction guy, Mickey Jones. he put out a dvd of his experience.
its not worth it, it's basically him in a studio name dropping.

i don't know. i could see top moments that you have experienced, but these "moments" that are so famous are so mythicized these days that i don't even really see the point.

well, i'll give another example...

the stone roses second album was pretty bad... especially compared to the first.. but there's a breakdown in the song.. "love spreads" where ian brown goes...

"let me put you in the picture, let me show you what i mean..."

his accent on 'show' makes the whole song worth listening too.

actually, any of you guys who like zepplin should check that song out,,. they thougt they were zepplin on that album.

im super surprised you had amputechture as one of your top 100. TMV is one of my top bands and that is easily my least favorite album of theirs in front of the tremulant EP. Not that it is a bad album or anything just very surprised to see someone list that if they are only listing 1 album by them.

Eh, I actually might like De-Loused better on certain days, but I think Amputechture is pretty epic. Viscera Eyes is probably my favorite song by them.

viscera eyes and Tetragrammaton are both pretty sick. My 2 fav songs on that album. Personally I just like deloused the most followed closely by bedlam then frances then amputechture.

Just wanted to bump to say that seeing Viscera Eyes last night was freaking epic. And ill echo your sentiment that that song is one of my all time favorites that those two have written. It solidified itself even more after last night.

and ps gah I really hate my list on here. There are several albums that I somehow forgot on my list or honorable mentions that are great, I just forgot them due to the scope of this or something Also I would probably just list 1 album per artist.
