Habanero jellies are amazing.
We should have made some this year because we had so many but if the weather stays like this I may be able to plant some more peppers in like 2 months 1/11/2008 11:54:26 AM

St. Dalfour preserves are money if you don't wanna make your own.
I like black cherry and blackberry.
You can heat it up in the microwave for a tasty ice cream topping, as well... 1/11/2008 11:55:21 AM

i have like 4-8 pints of habanero jelly just sitting around. i haven't used it in a while, i need to think of something good to do with it. its fucking money as a hors d'oeurve though. my recipe:
stack triscuit, cherry tomato slice and a glob of habanero jelly. garnish with cilantro leaf. for less mess without good looks, just spread the jelly on the triscuit. you could get fancy and put a piece of cheese in there somewhere too.
another thing its good for is stirfy sauce or bbq chicken glaze 1/11/2008 1:48:06 PM

Trader Joe's preserves FTW. I like blackberry and just about all of them, but they also have apricot, blueberry, cherry, grape, strawberry, and so on. 1/11/2008 2:02:38 PM
