Any of you ever play around with pedal mods? I just modded a boss cs-3 with good results. pretty easy to do. 1/12/2008 4:41:37 PM |

There is a book out there somewhere that a ton of mods with parts list I'm thinking of getting. I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron. Don't have a blues driver but want one. How did the that mod improve the sound for you? 1/12/2008 4:56:14 PM |

It took away all of the high end harshness and fattened it up a lot.
It really lets the guitar and amps shine through, very transparent.
I'd recommend it to anyone for anything less than metal. 1/12/2008 5:07:31 PM |

Cool. I'm in to blues. I let myself get talked into buying the mt-2 and it just has too much buzz for me, even on the lowest setting. Think I'll try to lay my hands on a bd-2 and then mod it. thanks for the info. 1/12/2008 5:21:21 PM |

BD-2 is one of the best ods for blues.
Sometimes I'll just leave it on the whole time to add more presence.
I was very surprised to hear that Warren Haynes uses an mt-2. 1/12/2008 5:31:57 PM |
