Nourish International is a local non-profit started some years ago at UNC, but has since spread to more than 4 different universities, including a chapter here at NC State. NI is student-conceived, student-led, and all projects student-executed. They raise funds throughout the year with innovative 'social ventures', and use those funds for project trips to the developing world focusing on sustainable agriculture. This past summer, a couple of students represented NC State on a project.

They are competing for a $50,000 donation on the 'Causes' facebook application. If they have the most unique donors by February 1st, the award is theirs. This is a shameless plug to encourage fellow TWWers and the NC State community to help NI win it. This is an international non-profit started right here in the Triangle, with strong NC State connections.
