it really is great. the 5:30 isn't that bad b/c when i leave at 5pm its 50/50 that i'll get caught in some traffic and come 5:30 most of that is alleviated.


and getting off at 12 on friday...having the choice of playing golf, getting the boat out, or just starting the drinking/relaxing at home nice and early is wonderful.

we work something similar. we work 9 hours typically and 8 hours on 1 friday and get the next friday off. its nice.

i work 4 days a week every week, and we only have a 37.5 hour work week. it's pretty sweet to have every friday off....or whatever day you want to

last job I worked 7:30-5:30, 30 min. lunch, basically 4x10. shitty part is it actually was more like 5x10. didnt even get time and a half for overtime.

new job is same deal, but I do get time and a half for overtime.

^yeah, no shit. This is definitely a "real" job. Like I said above, I do my damndedest every week to not bring work home. And like I said above, my hours equate to 40. Worked 48 last week, and only got paid for said 40.
