does anyone remember about 7 years ago sports illustrated had a coverstory about some middle schooler who was supposed to be awesome and they said stuff like he'd be disappointed if he wasn't able to go straight to the nba?
i've been trying for a while to figure out who that kid was, but i can't find it 1/17/2008 4:30:08 PM |

He was featured in Sports Illustrated, given the nickname "Baby Shaq" and pegged as a possible straight-to-the-NBA type." |

Yeah good luck to any college team who tries to pick him up.
There for one year + thinks he's bigger than college basketball + believes he already knows everything there is to know about the game = no thank you. 1/17/2008 4:58:17 PM |

Only other person I can think of would be Demond Carter, who's balling out of control at... Baylor. Kid was amazing in HS, though.
