Anyone installed Symantec Antivirus Small Business Edition 10.1 on a Vista computer and had it tell you it was incompatible with Vista, and to "Download the Symantec TDI and NDIS Update" from http://www.symantec.com/vista
The link is to a general page and I'm having trouble finding the actual update. Searching Symantec's site didn't help, and all my google searches have revealed other people with the same problem but no solution.
I'm downloading 10.2.x which supposedly circumvents this but has anyone gone through this before and actually found a driver update on Symantec's site or were you also forced to download the most recent version (free with an active license to 10.1)?
Thanks 1/24/2008 3:03:15 PM |

I'm running 'Symantec Antivirus 10.1' and those are all for 'Norton Antivirus 2005' or NAV 06, etc...I think those are just the 'Home/Office' products and not the 'Small Business' products...stupid Norton/Symantec
hopefully the 10.2.whatever I'm downloading will indeed fix the problem 1/24/2008 4:38:44 PM |

It will. SAV 10.2 is the product that Symantec specifically recommends for Vista. It's what we make available to campus. 1/24/2008 4:50:43 PM |
