I have lived in this community for over a year in both 1bedroom and 2bedroom apartments. I can vouch for it being among the best places in Raleigh to live. Whoever takes the apt. is getting a steal. I'm not leaving LJM until after I graduate I like it so much.

As long as it's a halfway decent complex then that seems like a good price. I've been looking at 1 br places around Raleigh and they average $700 for just rent.

It's true. I've lived here for 2 years now and I don't plan on leaving until I absolutely have to. It's got a homey-feel that most apartment complexes I've seen this area do not have. There are a lot of post-grads and families here, so it's pretty quiet (which some people, like myself, appreciate)

One plus he didn't mention is there is no parking policy. You don't have to deal with securing visitor spots when you have guests.

And it seriously is less than a minute's walk from the lake.

Also, a new lease at this place can be hundreds more than taking over an old one. They're pretty good about keeping current resident rent from increasing too much from year to year.

I've recommended Lake Johnson Mews to several people. It's ideal in pretty much every way.
