So I had a shitty LCD in my laptop that had busted and I had black areas on the screen, so I found a reasonably priced replacement (that was actually brighter/clearer) and got it installed the other day but got some fingerprints on it on the way. I've heard the best way to clean an LCD is about 50% water 50% isopropyl alcohol on a very soft cloth with circular motions. Any other tips? 1/28/2008 5:22:23 PM |

that's about it, no-lint cloth is best
oh and be sure to turn off the power and take the battery out before you do it.

If you don't mind spending a few dollars, go and buy a package of those anti-static screen cleaning wipes from a store. 1/28/2008 8:03:17 PM |
