Take her to the observation tower at the airport. Stop by Umstead on the way home and take her on a hike. She'll be worn out by the time her mother picks her up.

^^if it's cold/rainy, go to the General Aviation terminal instead. It overlooks the other runway and there are lots of small planes parked on the tarmac. There's also a little cafe and comfortable (for an airport) seating.

parking is free for 4 hours, too.

take her out in the woods and find things for a craft...sticks, pine cones, etc whatever you can find...get her to be creative and make something out of it (glitter on the pine cones, glue sticks on paper to make a picture, whatever)...i know i took a little kid out in the woods once and we found an empty turtle shell and we painted it.

Good idea Tabatha. Tell him to take a little girl alone in the woods.

Watch Harry Potter over and over again. My 3 year old loves it. I think its just because he can't remember the beginning of the movie by the time its over so he wants to watch it again. Repeat 3 more times throughout the day

It's a little silly, but the kids that I watched love Bullwinkles. Then there's the indoor inflatable playground, Jumping Beans. They're both in the same area on Buck Jones and they're sure to wear any kid out.

take her to any public place that where there are women.....

Women tend to be attracted to men with kids (or at least my ex apparently was )

Explain how you are babysitting as a favor.....

Meet lots o women...

FTW!

I'm not sure if there are any ducks or geese around this time of the year, but if there are, take the kid to a park to feed them.

No, Monkey Joe's is going to put Jumping Beans out of business. There's no contest between the two places. I really liked that there was a staff member or two supervising each bouncer.

One suggestion - coffee would be nice.

We have already put in a request for that- since its not "standard" it has to go through the corporate bull. I love how worn out the kids get, it made my party host job easy. All they wanted to do was scarf pizza. They even raised their hands. It was awesome.
