the money goes to wake county schools not NCSU DOT any more or something like that so there is less incentive to ticket

and most of those tickets occured from me being late for an exam and deciding to park on campus..so i wouldnt be late.

i just keep applying late, and if i do, i get the crappy ones not even on campus.

I got a ticket outside the Price Music center back in '97. I was parked in non-reserved spot and I got a ticket for being in the spot next to mine. I protested but, of course, to no avail.

back when i started ncsu they had a wait list for parking. so i got on the (i think) C lot waitlist. i figured if i had to wait a year or more for a spot, i might as well wait for a good one

then they just totally scrapped the waitlist when i got to like spot 100

anyone else remember this shit? 97-99 or so?

one time i had an L permit and parked at 1 to meet up with friends for lunch

yeah i always ended up parking on/across hillsborough street (except for the year when i lived on hillcrest and walked to class)

but i only got tickets RARELY and it was during one semester when i had a little 1 hour class that met on friday right after my other classes, and half the time i didnt bother moving my car out of the 2 hour spots . and even then i got caught maybe just a few times

actualy its amazing after watching that show on A&E (parking wars) about the PPA. they totally realize the potential value of all the spaces and the opportunity cost involved in not stalking cars. i think park raleigh spends more time downtown

but this thread is about campus parking im sure, so nevermind. im just waiting for my pants to dry and i need a warm laptop in my lap
