company A: I go in for interview, interview goes well and I have brother that works at the place that they really like. They call me two days later and say they have 1 more interview before they make a decision. I call them them a week later and they dont answer. I call them the next day and they say theyll let me know a few days later. A few days later goes by and they dont call. I call them and they dont answer. This has been goin on for 3 weeks now. I dont get these companies.

Company B: Interview goes really well. They say theyll get up with me a week later and let me know. A week comes and nothing. I call them and leave a few messages. Still no call back. I call them again and the recruiter says she hasnt heard anything. I call them 3 days later and she says they were suppose to run everything by the engineering manager and call me back. Still no call back yet. I call today and no answer

I'm taking classes while doing this and if I don't get these jobs I need to apply for financial aid. Financial aid costs 800 to get so I wait and wait and wait and no calls.

Each company said they had multiple positions open, so if they were waiting on somebody I dont see why that would matter.

Seriously sounds to me like either you didn't do good in the interviews or people are just busy as shit... hard to say which but where I work we generally notify the people we want to hire very quickly, and sure as fuck at least answer their calls.
