AR will light your fire or your Twins will glide their way into the postseason.

To be honest, I don't have high hopes for the Sox if they make it, but it really is a whole new game once the playoffs start.

Here's to Alexei Ramirez and the Sox getting hot!

i glance at the scoreboard tonight and i'm like "sweet the yankees are helping my twins"...then i realize in my fantasy league i started javy vasquez lol

luckily then i threw it on old channel 976 and watched the twins bust off a 3 run top of the 9th and beat the rays

rays are 5-8 in their last 13...they're gonna make the playoffs but they're fading a little

also i like the marlins to knock either the mets or brewers out of the wildcard

^ Thanks! I think I'm the only one on TWW who believe the Marlins will make the playoffs

well i'm up 9-3 so far, my offense is hitting. long week though so anything can still happen.

^^the rays will be back, Upton has missed the last 10 or something like that due to a strained quad. he'll be back sometime this weekend.

crawford hasn't been playing much either, so the rays will be alright

Had to start streaming last night in one of my playoff rounds. He was up a solid amount in era and a couple wins... got 38.1 innings, 4 wins, 41ks, 3.29 era, 1.28 whip. Not bad considering all 6 pitchers were new.

down 8-3...ouch...i've begun streaming pitchers but i'm already up in strikeouts...just trying to get wins...i'm down frickin 8-1 in errors and i'm getting beat in most batting categories...i need a serious push to come back and make it close by the end of the week

anybody know how tiebreakers work in Yahoo leagues? say we have 12 categories and at the end of Sunday its tied 6-6...does it go back to head to head matchups during the season? or does top seed get it? (I'm #1 seed )

Quote :
"In the event that a playoff game ends in a tie, the deadlock will be broken using the following system:

(See below if your league does not use one or more of the following categories.)

1. Lowest team ERA.
2. Highest team AVG.
3. Lowest team WHIP.
4. Most team HR.
5. Most team wins.
6. Most team RBI.
7. Most team saves.
8. Most team runs.
9. Most team SO.
10. Most team SB.
11. Random "coin flip."

Notes:

* The first category above that is not tied will settle the tiebreaker. So, tiebreaker No. 2, team AVG., will be used only if team ERA is tied.
* In a Custom League, the same tiebreakers apply. If a category above is not used in your league, please skip it and move on to the next criteria. So, if your league does not use ERA, then the first scoring category used to settle the tie will be team AVG.

I believe ERA is the first tiebreaker category.
