Graduated last May, still got access via WinSCP! Webmail still active, too. When do I lose it? 2/20/2008 7:12:03 PM |

It's supposed to be 6 months. However, they hold onto your data forever. If you come back as a student in 5 years, all your data will still be there. 2/20/2008 8:20:19 PM |

at exactly 6months you will go to log into your webmail and it just won't be there anymore
and they killed part of my filespace... so when I came back not EVERYTHING was still there... but I could have done something I forgot... 2/20/2008 8:42:17 PM |

Your Unity account access expires when you're no longer a student or on the University payroll. If you still have access, you may still be listed in one of those groups.
And the timeframe isn't exactly 6 months. If you graduate, it's generally 4 months give or take. A person actually runs scripts to determine who's getting turned off.
If you leave while still enrolled (i.e. withdraw), then your account access is typically suspended relatively soon after the last drop date during the semester. 2/20/2008 9:00:14 PM |
