Hah, cute video.
You should always cut in with the paintbrush before you roll the paint. That way you have plenty of room while you use the brush(I like to clean the brush on the wall occasionally to get the bristles right again), then you can almost completely cover your brush strokes with the roller later. Done right, you'll have a nice even matte finish all the way to within a half inch of your baseboard.
