Last week it was in the $2.90 range...this week it jumped to $3.10-$3.20. Now it costs $45 dollar bucks to fill up my car.

i have a 25 gallon tank, i dont really give a fuck, i drive an F150. I'm gonna drive it i'm gonna fill it up.
But yes, this gas price increase is a bit fucked up. I dont know if there will ever be any change. I dont expect to ever see gas steadily below $3.00 again. fact of life, we fudged our relations with the oil world. 2/22/2008 10:21:16 AM |

^3 i think there's like a possibility of them cutting production and that has already changed the prices. but i don't think they've cut it yet. not sure though. i know there was some stuff last week and earlier this month about the possibility of OPEC cutting production...not sure if it happened.
in other news i've been driving around with my gas light on for 2 days.

PREMIUM IS NOT THAT MUCH MORE. SHIT LET'S SAY YOU'VE GOT A 15 GAL TANK. YOU PAY ALL OF 3 DOLLARS MORE. SO THAT'S WHAT ...INSTEAD OF 45...48. BOO FUCKING HOO.
I really hate when people make flippant remarks about how much more expensive premium is. You would have an argument, when we learned to drive. A gallon was only a dollar, but premium was still 20 cents more.2/22/2008 1:24:32 PM |

I've heard people discuss that, and also that it could cause a near-collapse of the dollar if it does happen. I'm not up enough on financial markets to know if that's true or if that's alarmist bullshit, but it's a scary thought.
But, really, these gas prices won't last very long. Relax. They'll go up to around $4/gallon soon enough. Personally I'm waiting for it to hit 5...because that will push premium (which my car requires) up to around $5.30 and then it will take me over $100 to fill up. A momentous occasion, to be sure.2/22/2008 1:26:19 PM |
