March 4th at Cat's Cradle.
English beat doesn't seem bad, but I'm there for the Bandits
Anyone else going out there? 2/27/2008 11:13:07 AM |

I've seen the Bandits 2 or 3 times and they're always awesome. 2/27/2008 2:10:48 PM |

I've got some of the English Beat stuff on vinyl. It's the type of thing I can put on and enjoy when I'm doing something else, but I don't "actively" listen to it. It would be cool to see them live once. They are pretty legendary. 2/27/2008 4:56:13 PM |

My girlfriend and I will be there. I love the Bandits! I went and saw them in Greensboro last year. 2/27/2008 5:22:30 PM |

I wonder if the Bandit's Sax player left the band or just didn't make it to this stop on the tour. All of the other times I have seen them they have had a Sax and Trombone player. 3/5/2008 7:47:17 AM |

It was pretty horrible trying to drive down 15-501. The rain was indeed horizontal. 3/5/2008 10:38:56 AM |

One of the funniest things about this show was seeing the 40-50 year old groups coming in and trying to act like they knew what was going on while the Bandits were playing.
It was also funny to see 40 year old men and women trying to dress like rudeboys. 3/5/2008 11:27:06 AM |

The wiper blades on the car I was driving home from the show kept going on the fritz making it an adventure getting home. And then when I finally get 2 stoplights from my house, Lumley Road near the Angus Barn there is a damn lake with a car halfway submerged in it and a cop car blocking the section of road I needed to get on to merge onto 70. I'm just glad the cop was there because with the wipers being shitty I wouldn't have seen the ocean of water on the road ahead until it was probably too late.
I also enjoyed seeing the grey haired couples not knowing what to do while the Bandits played. 3/5/2008 5:48:57 PM |
