^^i wouldn't really call that exotic. Isn't Tesla on schedule to sell 20k of them this year?

This is completely random, but Hilton Head Lexus (which is located like 10 miles inland in Hardeeville, SC - go figure) has a white LFA on their showroom floor:

That's obviously not a photo of the one I saw, as I only noticed it when driving down Hwy 278 going 65 mph...

^ I guess you were the one who texted that to me? I think I accidentally saved someone else's number over your contact info cause I got a text about a white LFA and I'm all like, "Who the hell is this?"

lol

i went to monte carlo yesterday and saw hundreds of amazing cars. Bentleys are as common as toyota camrys in raleigh.. you would often see several in light change..crazy shit.

i took pics of everything..only thing i didnt see was a veyron..or many american muscle cars.

if you want pics there are some on my photobucket

Drove by a McLaren dealership in palo alto this weekend. Had a lot of non-exotic used cars for sale. Didn't notice if it was tied to a bigger operation that sold other brands. Don't see how guys were trading up their Jetta's for a McLaren 12C though.

Sorry no pics

Learned that the rapide is in fact my new managers. She won it last year from work. Deal was if we made our numbers they'd do a random drawing for two supercar leases. Some other dude won a Ferrari and she won the Aston. Got some up close time with it today. I've got two years to convince her to let me drive it.

yeah I meant child seats.

The whole 4 door supercar fad is just silly. The panamera just looks ridiculous, and even though the rapide looks really good, its just sooooo big.

I  big fast cars. I'd never drive a 2-door Porsche but would drive a Panamera in a heart beat if I could afford it.

Don't know if Tesla's can be considered exotic anymore:

http://gas2.org/2013/08/05/tesla-motors-acquires-8-of-the-luxury-car-market/

Quote :
"Despite the fact that Tesla (claims) it is aiming for performance over luxury, the young electric automaker has managed to outsell some perennial luxury car favorites. This includes the Audi A8, BMW 7-series, and Mercedes S-class, all of which Tesla has reportedly outsold in the past quarter. With production exceeding expectations, Tesla seems poised to take over a bigger portion of the market.
In fact, Tesla has supposedly garnered as much as 8.4% of the U.S. luxury car market, a huge slice for a company that has only been building its only car for 14 months. With about 640,000 luxury cars being sold YTD in 2013, that works out to over 53,000 Tesla Model S units. But even if Tesla is exceeding its rate of production of 400 cars per week, it couldn’t have built much more than 12,000 or so units in 2013. We just have to wait for Tesla’s quarterly sales report to get some real hard numbers."

Tesla Model S is definitely not exotic. I see at least 7-8 a week, and usually 1-2 per day.
