"Lawyers representing the Air Force's elite electronic warriors have sent YouTube a DMCA takedown notice demanding the removal of the 30-second spot the Air Force created to promote its nascent Cyber Command[...]

But Air Force marketing chief Keith Lebling, who sent us the spot in the first place, says any intellectual property claim should have gone through his office, and none did.

U.S. Government works aren't even copyrightable. YouTube doesn't know that -- presumably because it has no lawyers -- and it's taken down the video. A spokeswoman said in an e-mail that the Google-owned service has no choice but to comply with DMCA notices. That's not quite right, though. YouTube has no legal obligation to remove non-infringing content."

Benjamin Lovell was arraigned Tuesday on grand larceny charges. The 48-year-old salesman said he tried to tell officials at Commerce Bank in December that he did not have a $5 million account. He says he was told it was his and he could withdraw the money.

Prosecutors said the bank — which advertises itself as America's Most Convenient Bank — confused Lovell with a Benjamin Lovell who works for a property management company.

The lesser-funded Lovell gave away some of the withdrawn money and blew some of it on gifts, but lost much of it on bad investments, prosecutors said.

makes perfect sense. the f-117 is outdated when compared to the raptor. plus its stupid expensive to maintain. plus why maintain two supply lines, repair depots, training schools, etc when you could just have one? they can take all that saved money and purchase more stupid expensive raptors (think its like $100 million). contrary to popular belief the department of defense doesn't have an endless budget to order as many of these $100,000,000 planes as they want

oh i doubt they'd sell something as sensitive as those. also like ^ said, due to the limited number of raptors we can afford, i'm sure the 117s will be ready to spring into action

play ace combat and use the f-117 notice that it sucks no matter wheher your bombing a ground target or dog fighting. now try the f-22 and notice it completely pwns both air and ground targats and tell me that mothballing the f-117 is still a waste.

"Treffly Coyne was out of her car for just minutes and no more than 10 yards away.

But that was long and far enough to land her in court after a police officer spotted her sleeping 2-year-old daughter alone in the vehicle; Coyne had taken her two older daughters to pour $8.29 in coins into a Salvation Army kettle.

Minutes later, she was under arrest — the focus of both a police investigation and a probe by the state’s child welfare agency."

"Two months ago, Mayor Daley's corruption-fighting inspector general fired one of his assistant chief investigators after she was arrested for shoplifting $131.43 worth of items at a Chicago grocery store.

Now, Tracy Buckley has been acquitted of those charges. She might even try to reclaim her $77,784-a-year job.

Circuit Court Judge Stuart Katz found Buckley not guilty this week after prosecutors failed to play a surveillance video and waived their right to deliver opening and main closing statements."

"Facing the barrel of a sawed-off shotgun on a dark West Baltimore street, Roland Scott fought back. He pulled out his own weapon - a fake handgun - and wrested the shotgun away from his attacker, city police said.

Scott ordered the man to strip naked in the middle of Laurens Street, took $800 from him and forced him to march into the laundry room of a nearby apartment building.

"He starts beating him, telling him to get more money, saying, 'Get me a cell phone or I'm going to kill you,'" said Sgt. Dennis M. Raftery Jr., a supervisor in the Police Department's homicide unit. "He is beating him with the butt of a sawed-off shotgun."

Raftery said the shotgun, then pointed at Scott, discharged, hitting Scott in the stomach and killing him."

Just one year later, Jenny was dead of an aggressive form of breast cancer, and when John tried to start his life anew as a single father, the company rejected his claim for it to pay his wife's policy.

The company said that even though doctors said Jenny was healthy, she must have been sick before they agreed to insure her."
