I'm sure some of you own homes/businesses, and do your own work on them also. However, a few of my issues are beyond my realm of knowledge, and I need help.
Therefore I was wondering if any of you had a trusted...
* Electrician * Glass/window repair * Plumber
...to recommend.
For others, if you have hired any handymen to do random fix it up jobs, and they were good, list them here. 3/8/2008 12:42:00 AM |

Don't get Jeff Jones to do electric work; he takes a long time, is sloppy, and charges out the ying yang. 3/8/2008 1:38:47 AM |

I'd recommend Bigblueram. He'll do what you ask AND put 24's on it, no extra charge. 3/9/2008 10:53:07 AM |

Archie's Stump and Tree Removal--has their stuff together. Good price, clean, efficent and honest service. I was really impressed.
Integrated Landscapes--has pretty competative rates, and delivers on what was promised (which is usually very difficult to get from a landscaper!)
Knightdale Home Improvement built our deck, and it's awsome. We got a good price and a really quality product. Again, Vic was really honest and upfront.
(Clearly we've only had outdoor stuff done thus far). 3/9/2008 12:53:19 PM |

Can anyone recommend a good handyman/repair service that could come to my house and fix my broken dryer? I live in Apex, so anything in Raleigh, Cary, or Holly Springs could be an option.
I don't really have the money to buy a new dryer right now, but I guess if anyone knows of any super deals, I wouldn't ignore the suggestions.
It's a GE fwiw.
EDIT: Should I just call up GE? It's not too old, but I don't know much about it since it came with the house I bought.

know anyone who does sheetrock/drywall repair? i've got a hole in my ceiling that i need patched. it's a small hole 8"x15" at most, but it's a popcorn ceiling.
i hate popcorn ceilings.
it doesn't have to match perfectly, but i'm hoping for a decent blending. 7/17/2008 1:45:53 PM |

Electrician: If we need work done again, that my bf can't do, we'll call Tom Roche. Don't have his number handy. Find the number for Lynn's Renovation Gang, and just leave a message for Tom. He's her husband. Plumber: I'd probably PM BigBlueRam Glass/window: I got nothing. 7/17/2008 1:45:57 PM |
