campus? i want to say it's $0.05/copy, but you have to buy the copycard for $1 (though it comes with $0.10 already on it) 3/9/2008 5:48:05 PM |

Kinkos is 9 cents a copy? When I used to go there it was 4 cents a copy. Photocopies are one of those things I expect to get cheaper with time. 3/9/2008 7:21:38 PM |

if you can't afford 9 cents a copy
you either
a) need to not make copies b) get a job with access to a copier c) purchase a cheap laser printer 3/9/2008 9:06:23 PM |

that's a shit ton of resumes. why would you ever need that many?
my resume is 3 pages long - that would be 333 resumes. i think i've given out maybe 5 resumes in my entire life. 3/10/2008 11:30:11 PM |

Maybe he needs 50 copies of a 20 page document for a meeting or conference. 1000 is a rather pedestrian number of copies. 3/11/2008 12:07:08 AM |

1000 pages isn't anything. it's nearly 4 copies of my dissertation
we have a printing room that is managed by people. i swear they print tens of thousands of pages/copies a day for everyone. they're fast, too. when i send a big job to print, they're delivering it to my office within 10 minutes. 3/11/2008 7:21:23 AM |

^see, that's different, though... i frequently make exorbitant amounts of copies at work (well, i have the print shop do them for me, but still)
if he's got to pay for them, it must be for something personal... and i can't think of something personal that would be 1000 pages
p.s. lemme read dat dissertation. 3/11/2008 7:34:53 AM |
