I remember them then I guess.

They had some good house shows back in the day. Way before 99-00 though. By that point I think a lot of the earlier folks had moved and it was dying out pretty fast.

I went there a few times back when I was in high school (1994ish). I once saw a fight break out over who was better...The Exploited or The Clash.

Never really knew what happened. I went there a couple of times in the time frame you're talking about, but only because some of my friends were living next door (or two doors down) and we walked over to say hi.

I still see some of those guys at shows around Raleigh though.

them + more bums than now = a real hassle to feel safe walking around, keep in mind i used to live at 3 maiden ln. behind sadlacks and the plasma center - a lot of the gutter punks were using alongside the crackheads, and i guess the proximity of it all had a pretty negative impact on me - you saw them, they lived hard, fought dirty, and fucked infected.
