Anyone know of a place that would do this? Or a place that could color match our interior paint color with spray paint? We have some metal grates that we would like to paint to match the trim, but would like to spray it rather than brush it. thanks! 3/17/2008 9:36:13 PM |

i think you're better off getting a sample and taking it to ACE hardware. they have tons of paint. if you want it sprayed.
it would look better brushed IMO 3/17/2008 9:52:58 PM |

You could always spray it with a sprayer. The Wagner sprayers are pretty cheap although they tend to clog a lot. 3/17/2008 10:04:27 PM |

I did some registers a while back that turned out pretty good. I got 69 to sand blast them, then used a white primer rattle can. I had to thin down the latex pretty far to get it to spray, and it made a fucking mess, but it turned out pretty good. 3/18/2008 11:48:53 AM |

I forget if it was carquest or ppg, but when I needed to repaint an item on my old car, they mixed up and reduced the paint for me, and suggested I buy this sprayer that was basically a glass bottle with a disposable aerosol sprayer that hooked into it. Worked pretty good for what I was using it for. You might be able to buy one of those and load it up with house paint, if you could reduce it such that it would spray properly.3/18/2008 5:45:14 PM |
