when and where do you play open hockey?

I've been playing Fridays and Saturdays at Cary Ice House but I'm looking for some other good adult pickup games. Plus the Cary Ice House kinda sucks.

btw...the Ice House just started adult pickups from 7:15-8:45 pm on Thursdays. I'll be out there tomorrow so come on out.

I'd really like to get into playing at some point, I can skate so that's not an issue. It would have to be at the junior level though, pretty sure I'd get pwned by 5 year olds at my current expected skill level.

I love playing pick up ice hockey. Reczone has good pick up and good ice. They have it some fridays at lunch. Also if you can get up early in the morning ICeplex has good pick up at 5 a.m.

The jokes are better in the locker room at the Reczone lunch pickup...I went there every Friday for four years, but these days I have to be at work an hour after it starts, so no dice.

wow, since moving to denver area, I had forgotten how hockey is a sparsely played sport back in NC. everyone I know plays here. The CU gym has a huge hockey rink and open ice like 3 nights a week

If anyone remembers Danny , AKA St louis . He comes up to the factory

alot , he played on the state club hockey team a couple years ago .

Not alot of older guys come , the travel kids run scrimmages , we normally have enough for

each team to have 2 lines .
