Which restaurant makes the best philly cheesesteak in Raleigh?

the BEST philly cheesesteak in this area

is

FAT PHILLY'S

it is in Holly Springs, on 55 ...same shopping center as the new wal-mart there
this is the closest thing to a "real" philly i've had outside of Philadelphia.
They even use the same bread (get it sent from Philly). Real steak as well, not that prepackaged frozen crap...

Mojo's and Capitol Room/Fayetteville Street Tavern are hit or miss, when it's good it's really good

we went with Amedeo's

it was pretty good, not the best chesesteak ever. For $9 I was expecting a lot better.

besides, aren't philly cheesesteaks nothing but cheese and steak? when i worked up in Richmond a Penn State kid born and raised in philly ordered a cheesesteak and got that...pretty weird

the only place you can get a real philly cheesesteak is in philly.

the closest thing i've seen to that around here is Fat Philly's which uses the same cut steak and the same bread (Amoroso's) as Philly.

I'm sure there are other's that use it, i just haven't found them.

However, none of them compare to a "Philly"
