Basically, Derek is a 29 year old who is blind and has severe mental disabilities.

He does however, possess absolute pitch, can play any song he's ever heard in his life, and improvise upon it (for example, he can play Beethoven's Fur Elise, and then play it as if Mozart had written it instead).

I saw him in the NatGeo series "My Brilliant Brain."

He even played a techno version of Fur Elise.

If you ask me, this guy right here (and other autistic savants) show the existence of God.
