Shortly after the huge earthquake in 1989 I remember seeing a scientist on TV who said there would be an earthquake within the next 30 years that would cause California to split off from the mainland and basically become an island. They covered how many hundreds of thousands of people might die and all that. It blew my mind as a kid, but as I grew up I realized that guy was an idiot....OR WAS HE? 4/15/2008 2:17:09 PM |

I don't think poles normally change in a single day, but there is evidence that the poles might be changing as we speak. They have significantly weakened over the last hundred years or so iirc.4/15/2008 3:13:20 PM |

It looks like more unaffiliated voters will vote in the democratic primary than republican. What could explain this? 4/21/2008 2:55:50 PM |

the fact that that has been the case in practically every primary so far? 4/21/2008 3:03:03 PM |

^^ I just looked it up. Apparently there was some sort of planetary alignment and some assholes used pseudoscience to equate that with a pole shift. 4/21/2008 3:04:57 PM |
