So I have this adorable little bunny. She's a dwarf mix and completely black except she has a little bit of gray on her paws. Her name is Paris, but of course she doesnt really respond to it too much so you can change it if you want. She is very well behaved and litter boxed trained. I have a cage, water bottle, a few toys, food, hay, and wood chips all to go with her. I absolutely love her, but I just dont have enough space or time for her any more

How old is she?

Is she spayed?

Was she bought or rescued?

Any pictures?

Where do you live(just a general idea of what city you're in?

you'll have better luck there

Is there any way I can see a photo of the bunny, I try to view your gallery but according to your profile, there is no gallery selectable.

My girlfriend is looking to get another bunny as a friend for her current. She feels bad that it's alone when she leaves for work or class.

^^ you can give away an animal for free on craigslist or ask for a small reasonable adoption fee

I've tried posting my bunny on craiggslist twice and each time they sent me an email saying "You are not allowed to post ads for animals on Craigs List. Please remove your ad, or it will be flagged." and then they get deleted Both times it was removed practically immediately after I posted so no one even really got to read it.

I'm guessing you put it in the free section. You have to post your animal in the pets section.

Why not drop her off at the SPCA? That's free.

It seems like you're having trouble finding a new place for Paris on TWW so here are some other options:

1) Put it up for a small adoption fee in the pet section of craigslist ( I see your ad there now so I guess you have that option covered)

2) SPCA - They are an animal shelter but they are not affiliated with the county. They are a seperate organization. Really awesome place brand new clean facility. I just adopted a bunny from there last week. They don't take all animals though. They don't have the funding or space that the county shelter has so they have to only take a certain number of animals a year.

http://www.spcawake.org/site/PageServer

3) Wake County Animal Shelter - I have no idea what their facilities are like but they do take in animals

http://www.wakegov.com/pets/default.htm

4) Bunny Matters, they might not take her in but maybe they can list Paris on their sites and send some people your way that are interested

http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/NC425.html

5) Bird's Nest Rabbit Rescue. I don't know anything about them, but if their name is any indication of what they do they might be able to help you.

http://www.animalshelter.org/shelters/Birds_Nest_Rabbit_Rescue_rId3662_rS_pC.html

The super best option is to be responsible and keep her yourself . But if you can't give her the time or attention she needs I'm sure there is somebody out there that would love a bunny.

The next best option is the SPCA as they are amazingly nice to their animals and have a pretty stringent adoption process. They make sure all their animals are spayed/neutered before they are adopted and they make sure the people know how to take care of the animals prior to adoption.

If the SPCA won't take her then try craigslist some more. Use the animal shelter as your last try. They are a kill shelter... so yeah...
