i get the hiccups when i laugh too hard. then i start laughing harder when i'm interrupting the laughing with hiccuping.

It's the third time today I've had them

I just keep laughing every time I think about listening to a voicemail filled with hiccups. It does nothing good or bad to the hiccups, at least.

Sometimes, yeah, they hurt. The first set today hurt; these don't.

I hate when I get the painful ones, at work, when I'm actually talking to people. It'squiet if I can just keep my mouth shut, and not have air whistling into my trachea, but if my mouth is open with I hic, it's like a dinosaur war cry. At least, it sounds that way to me, in my head

I get the loud, painful ones too. One time I had them through an entire pre-calculus exam in high school. My teacher wouldn't let me leave the room to stop distracting everyone else, so a lot of people were pissed at me that day.
