friend's cousin has one. I remember looking at it and thinking how simple it is (in a good way)... like a big erector set.

it and the steering knuckle were afraid of heights, so the knuckle TURNED LEFT and the tire BOUNCED.

there is a small time car shop (across duty tire) on atlantic ave. right across from atlantic springs rd.

they have a buggy for sale. not as big and long as the ones pictured. but im sure that could do us good.

of course you folks would probably wanna build one instead of buy

^^^^^they used to be dirt cheap, but with the recent increase in popularity of air cooled stuff they're going up. you could still do one pretty cheap though, and i still see all vw based complete running ones going for $5k or much less occasionally.

^^^^with the way steel prices are now, buying an already built chassis is going to be MUCH cheaper.

^^^i know Jeepman has at least one spare motor. i don't know what his plans are for it though. optmusprimer had an extra one too, a 1600 dual port i think? i assume Yo RelAx/IllegalRegal or whoever has has it now since he got the car.

^ahaha, that's one hell of a generator. interesting concept, i've never thought about using one in that application. i wonder how it would compare to the big residential diesel gen sets? might be a cheap alternative for a homemade system.
