20/20 eyewear in the mall.

expensive as hell for some $20 glasses, but at least you can feel special.

plus their after service care is pretty decent.

I'm buying my new glasses online.

Excellent starting place, with many links.

I'm assuming prescription glasses and not sunglasses right?

I got my Ralph Lauren frames and prescription lenses from Eye Care Center in Cary in the Barnes & Noble shopping center... have had them for about 4 years with no complaints. Anytime I have an issue (bent frame, etc.), I drop them by and they take care of it right away.

ditto on eye care center in crossroads. i didn't get my exam there, just the glasses. but i got nautica frames with anti-glare and if the lenses scratch or break i can get them replaced for free. they have tons of options and colors, and the glasses are ready for you pretty soon.
completely covered by my insurance too which is always a plus.

^ same here, Samuels is kinda arrogant but he's a good eye doctor. Got my exams, frames and lenses there for the past few years.

I just got a pair of BCGs from Zenni Optical to use when I'm in my shop and they were decent for the price, esp if you don't have insurance.
