Oklahoma: less flat than I thought. Saw the first windmills <3 Spent the night here last night, and oh good god, it was SO nice.
Texas: a whole lot of nothingness. It is on the list of 'must spend more time in on the next roadtrip'
New Mexico: far and away the best. Completely awesome.

We're in Vegas now, and my sleep schedule is getting fucked further every day Vegas isn't going to set that straight.

Tomorrow, Lake Mead/Hoover Dam, and maybe a show, and then back out to Hoover for some shots I didn't get tonight.

- Saw a girly show in vegas. Complete with tiny titties and skin-and-bones dancers
- The Golden Gate bridge was nearly a worthless trip, as it was TERRIBLY foggy
- Sleeping under the stars, no tent, loses some of it's magic when you can't see them without glasses
- Wind in Wyoming is serious business. It forced us out of our tent around 4am, ripping up stakes and bending the tent over
- Powell was fucking awesome
- There was a good deal of localized flooding in Nebraska:
"Wow...check out that stream!"
:a mile later:
"Whoops. That's the stream "
- I stood in the Colorado River
- White Castle farts are serious business
- There's a chain of gas stations called Kum-n-Go
- It snows in May in the Rocky Mountains
- There's more female eye candy at the Air Force Academy than I expected

We have seen $4 twice: Immediately at the CA/AZ border in the desert

...and here in the chicago area (where's it's actually $4.15)

As far as chipping in: I'm broke, he's far from broke, I'm his girlfriend. If he'd asked me to pay, I would have. But he didn't. (And actually said last night "I'm glad you could come", referring to taking time off from work)

When it comes down to "Help pay for gas" = not coming on the trip against "Yeah, come on. Your job is to take pictures and give me road head" = able to come

...He wanted my company on the trip . I think in a situation where the trip happens whether you have company or not, most people would choose to have company (assuming it's company they want for two weeks)

How do you take such good pics? Do you mess with them before posting them on tdub?

I've been playing with an slr recently knowing NOTHING about taking them except I tend to find cool angles and things pleasing to the eye. Are there logistics? Any advice? Is it really all photoshop?
