"oem" and "for system builders" in relation to software, specifically operating systems?
other than oem doesnt come in original or retail packaging or whatever

^ ah... one of those things.
so say i had this friend who wanted to install a 64 bit vista home premium "for system builders" version on a still-in-the-works build and i.... i mean he, has only installed osystems a couple of times using the reinstallation cd that came with the pc. would i tell him to go for it its not hard you can figure it out its pretty much the same or.. save your money to get a retail? 5/10/2008 1:06:37 PM |

it's exactly the same as the retail version
except the oem/SB edition was meant to be purchased by OEMs and preinstalled on end user machines
