yeah i was looking at all the tornadoes we ever had...searched f5 and got nothing...so i searched all the f4's and noticed like half were on that day...figured someone with deep nc roots would come in and give a testimonial from that day or something....you come in a distant second though...first google search link of "north carolina march 28th, 1984" comes up with something from ncsu

Im old. I remember it well. We had a tornado come within a mile of our house. It was loud as hell and really fucked up this cemetery it went through.

People my age and older who still live in the area I grew up in STILL to this day talk about those GD tornadoes like it was Elvis coming back for a concert or something.
